Budo Zen Martial Arts

The most important step in learning any martial arts system is seeking the most knowledgeable, experienced, and honest teacher; a modest master who teaches beyond doubt the arts for the benefit his students.  Shihan Camille Ohan, is best described by the following quote..."A man who has attained mastery of an art reveals it in his every action." Shihan Ohan is a martial arts master, educator, and compassionate human-being.

Shihan Ohan began studying martial arts at age nine.  He was introduced to Japanese-combat Martial Arts following the foot-steps of the Samurai. It was the goal of his parent to inscribe in him discipline, respect, and honesty from a very young age.  From the very begining of his training process, Shihan Ohan was taugh the importance of connecting with nature.  Training in the outdoors breathing fresh air, surrounded by Green-trees, paying close-attention to the sounds of birds, and flow of water in the Nile-River helped him reinforce his focus, improve techniques, and better develop his breathing.  He continued his expedition learning in Canada by studying Okinawan Karate/ Kobudo, and Japanese Kyokushin Karate. Today, among the many titles and awards earned, Shihan Ohan is Canada-Country Branch Chief for N.P.O. ShinKyokushin-Kai W.K.O. Japan.

While studying for many years to attain mastery in martial arts, his knowledge in authentic Okinawan and Japanese martial arts/ kobudo is balanced in a full and complete understanding of application and theory. Shihan Ohan is very well capable of teaching others.  He is a grand-master who places high emphasis on giving each of his students his full attention to receive a complete understanding of not only technique-applications, but to fully comprehend why such concepts are applied (theory) to the very little detail.

By being truthful to his profession, Shihan Camille Ohan is more than pleased when he watches, over time, his students grow, learn, and accomplish goals in martial arts, and the real world outside the dojo.  His guidance continues to all of his students young, old, beginner, and advance.  Shihan Camille Ohan has a very truthful and blunt attitude when giving advice; nonetheless, his way is very gentle and genuine.  He will give his opinion, but allows the student to make his/ her own choices, and he will stand behind the students 100%.  This is our humble teacher; this is Shihan Camille Ohan.                                                                                       OSU!
